Flinders Chase Farm accommodation is ideal, as it is located only 10km from Flinders Chase National Park, and is also not far from many of Kangaroo Islands other popular attractions like Kelly Hill Caves, Little Sahara, Seal Bay, and Cape Border Lighthouse.
Some other ideas for a top day out could include a trip along the North Coast of KI taking in Western River Cove, Snellings Beach, then onto the interesting rock pool at Stokes Bay. This is on dirt roads so watch your speed, however the views of Kangaroo Islands coast & beaches is well worth it.
Saturday & Sunday there is a special wildlife show featuring Australian birds of prey at Vivonne Bay with Dave and Leeza Irwin.
Located along a dirt road is Andermel Marron Cafe featuring Two Wheeler Creek Wines and fresh KI Marron, this could make for an interesting lunch stop.
You will enjoy a visit to The Parndana Wildlife Park where you can view local Kangaroo lsland wildlife up close. The nearby town of Parndana has fuel, a bakery and small supermarket, as well as The Soldier Settlement Museum.
